Can somebody setup a page for ehcp in wikipedia ?
The page was in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ehcp but deleted by wikipedia,
as wiki guides say, I cannot write an article that belongs to my product...
Some of ehcp lovers started ehcp article on wikipedia, but they deleted because "it is not notable".
I started to think that wikipedia is againts open-source software. they contain well information about closed-source, non-free software... such as plesk... including version numbers.. (I dont understand what is encyclopedic value of plesk version numbers ?)

as a final event, somebody has removed all names/links of ehcp from wikipedia.
previously, there was no ehcp page, but, text "ehcp" has been on some pages,
I protest that, somebody is fighting against ehcp,against opensource software.
somebody, maybe some commercial panels, do not want ehcp to improve..
anyway, ehcp is continuing to develp, ver 0.29.13 is released with many improvements, and I continue to develop it.

as I understand, Plesk/cpanel donated much for them, so, they do not want to raise another competer.
wikipedia does not conform to its own rules, they say, "commercial things are not allowed", but, plesk is fully commercial trademark.
they say, "encyclopedic value", what is encyclopedic value of plesk version numbers ?
Please others try and try and try for ehcp wiki page...
they do not fight in rule. :(

Actually I will say my taught about what you can do to improve the consideration about the work you have done, which is totally outstanding.
1. Attract developers : That means document how to attack the code and make everything looks english which is we like it or not, the international language. Must a dev mailing list and a bug tracker.
2. It's necessary to organize the interface according to what they will touch the most. That's different for resellers and also diffrent for the main admin.
3. The present web site must be improved to look more professional : Remove animations, place a nice downlaod button, remove all the feeds from the home page, remove the google block which is looking crappy. I can help with that drupal site.
Those 3 will change a lot of things. On my side I must finish to implement the mail autoreply feature. It's buggy and pre-alpha state, but everybody wants this function.
By the way ehcp is still mentionned on wikipedia here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_hosting_control_panels
but this is not a reason to not kick their ass.

i will consider about your suggestions, but appearantly, I have no time to think/fix for all.
rather, I prefer to do ehcp more stable and more feature rich, and maybe help somebody there..
And I cannot deal with wikipedia anymore, i think they took the order from plesk/cpanel to remove my page.
there are many many many pages in wiki, which has no encyclopedic value, or are not notable in whole world..
anyway, this answer may even be a waste of time for me..

I must say that the upgrade was a little bit painful but I could manage finally.

The effect is that the user who is inputing his correct current password will be said that this password is wrong.

INJUSTICE
It's an injustice what Wikipedia has done. I am not familiar with the process of disputing deletions on Wikipedia, however I did make an attempt, albeit an unsuccessful one.
I admire your work, and EHCP undoubtedly deserves a Wikipedia article.
I will be doing a write up on the misinformation presented by means of commercial influence at Wikipedia on my blog, crookedamerica.com. Unless you have any objections, I would like to reference EHCP and it's subsequent deletion in the article.

Notability
It appears the only argument remaining against a Wikipedia page for EHCP is it's "notability".
This argument can easily be debunked by providing independent, non-affiliated, 3rd party news articles/information in relation to EHCP.

I can also give this information raughly:
~ 45.000 installations of ehcp,
~ 25.000 domains setup in ehcp,
~ 1000 servers running ehcp worldwide,
these are raugh counts of ehcp up to now (30-4-2010, d-m-Y),
which are known counts. There may be also unknown servers that run ehcp in internal networks or that does not produce any statistic.
I try to collect these information from some statistics as mentioned in start of ehcp install.

It has now been suggested that I begin a new article for EHCP in User:WiZZiK/EHCP userspace for consideration, and so this I will do. There is a dev at Wikipedia who says he will help me with the article and give me suggestions, so this is a good step in the right direction :)
