EHCP mail messages to ehcpdeveloper

I have noticed that EHCP seems to send out a lot of mail to ehcpdeveloper

While I appreciate the software is there a way I can remove this?
Also I want to remove the google advertising on the control panel and in the webmail.

Thanks.

Normally ehcp sends mail to developer, while install, and as panel used... for statistical purposes..
You may of course disable this...
open classapp.php and disable function infotoadminemail by putting a // in front of lines..

you may also disable all mail functions inside that php file.

You may also remove google adds in panel and webmail, as follows:
open html files in templates/default/en folder, template_en.html, remove google code
in same way, open webmail/src/.... related files... i dont remember which file, but it is somewhere there..

It is a good software but I did not know that!!!!

YOU SHOULD SAY THAT IN THE FRONT PAGE OF THE INSTALLATION MANUAL AND HOWTO TO HOWTOFORGE.COM

AND WHAT KIND OF INFOS SEND TO YOU?

I BELIEVE THAT YOU SHOULD PLACE A INFO BOX ALSO IN THE INSTALLATION OF THE SOFTWARE (YOU COULD DO THAT IN THE PLACE WITH THE "ENTER" YOU ASK INSIDE THE INSTALL SCRIPT AND LET THE USER CHOOSE IF HE WANTS TO SEND EMAILS TO YOU.!!!!!!!

THIS IS NOT SO GOOD

there is already info at start of install.
you may test it again,
at start of install,
it says and warn you as this:
echo "starting ehcp install, please read prompts/questions carefully ! \n
Some install info and your email is sent to ehcp developpers for statistical purposes and for improvements \n";

What is sent:
1- if ehcp is installed?
2- the stage of installation, for ex, the mail server installed etc...
3- the name/email of installer..

first for info about "is installation successfull or, at which stage it failed.." and, the email of installer people..
thats all.

this is stated at start of install, and can be disabled from php mail function..

if you have further question, write here..

to test what is sent, replace ehcpdeveloper@gmail.com with your email, and see what is sent :)
this is open source software, so, you (or a friend of you which is a bit programmer) know everything that is happening in software..

I suggest you to suspect about closed-source software...
